Weather woes: Moved in during a snowstorm!

Moved last weekend amidst a blizzard—-20°F with wind chill! The moving truck got stuck on a snow-covered street, and we ended up shoveling for hours. Would love to hear tips on how to prepare for a move in winter weather; I definitely learned my lesson the hard way!
