My landlord leaves random fruit at my door. Sweet but weird?

So, my landlord has taken to leaving seasonal fruit at my door every week. I was stoked to find apples one week and then a pineapple the next! It's kind of sweet, but also oddly random. Is this normal landlord behavior, or am I just living in a quirky fruit-themed reality show?
