Finding an apartment in Parkdale - worth it?

Hey everyone! I’m moving to Toronto in a few weeks and looking at places in Parkdale. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the area, and I’m unsure if it's the right fit for me. What’s the vibe like there? Are the rents generally reasonable? Any tips on viewing apartments would be super helpful too!
