Help me decide on a $2200 1BR near TTC or a $1900 studio further out

I'm torn between renting a $2200 1BR just steps from the subway line or a $1900 studio that's a 15-minute walk to the nearest TTC stop. The convenience of the 1BR is tempting, but I could save money with the studio. I need help weighing my options for commuting and lifestyle needs!
