Help me decide on a $2200 1BR in a quieter neighborhood

I'm stuck between signing a lease for a $2200 1BR in a quieter neighborhood versus a $2000 studio downtown. The pros of the 1BR are more space and peace, while the studio has vibrancy and shorter commutes. I'm hesitant about the price and being further from the action. Please convince me either way!
