Need advice on renting in the Beaches vs. a condo in Liberty Village

I'm relocating to Toronto next month and stuck between a cozy apartment in the Beaches for $2200 and a modern condo in Liberty Village for $2400. I love the beach vibe but am drawn to the amenities in Liberty. Which area do you guys think offers a better balance of lifestyle and convenience?
