Need storage between apartments - what are my options?

I'm in a bit of a bind with moving and storage in Toronto. I have a gap between my move-out and move-in dates, and I need somewhere for my stuff. Is short-term storage common? Are there movers who do storage or should I just look into storage unit costs in Toronto instead?
