Rents keep climbing—what gives?!

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford this? Just looked at a one-bedroom in downtown for $3200—ridiculous! The last place I saw went for $1500, but someone snatched it up within hours. This market is impossible, I can't deal with this anymore!
