Average rent for a 1BR in Toronto is now $2400—this feels unsustainable. I just lost my 5th apartment to a cash bidding war, and I'm wondering how anyone can afford this. Even Jane & Finch is hitting $2200; where do we go from here if we're priced out of the city?
