Sick of These Crazy Rent Increases in Toronto!

Another rent increase?! Seriously?! My landlord wants $2800 for a bachelor? What planet are they living on? How is anyone supposed to afford this?! Just got outbid again on a decent place, and it's infuriating! I viewed 15 spots last week, all gone in HOURS. This market is impossible!
