Frustrated with Landlords and Bidding Wars in Toronto

Every time I find a decent apartment, I feel like I'm thrown into a bidding war. Landlords seem to prioritize sealed bids, and I'm constantly outbid by others. It’s exhausting trying to figure out how high I should go—what's the point if I keep losing to higher offers? Why is it so competitive?!
