How does anyone afford living in Toronto anymore?

I genuinely don't understand how people can afford to live in Toronto these days. What kind of income do you need to make it work? It feels like only rich people can survive here now. How are others managing? Are there any neighborhoods left that are somewhat affordable? I'm really confused!
