What's the neighbourhood like near 1315 Neilson Rd?

I'm thinking about renting at 1315 Neilson Rd and would love to know more about the area. How's the transit access there? Is it easy to get around, or is it kind of isolated? And what's the vibe like for day-to-day living? Any good local spots nearby?
