Apartment hunting is utterly exhausting right now

Just need to vent real quick. I'm so burnt out from applying to places and getting nothing but silence. Why is every decent listing gone before I even get a chance to view it? This market is ridiculous; I'm ready to throw in the towel. Anyone else feeling this way?
