What's the 42 Glen Elm Ave neighbourhood actually like for renters?

I'm really excited about the apartment options at 42 Glen Elm Ave! I love the vibe of the area from what I've seen, but I'm curious about the local character. How's the transit around there, and are there good grocery stores or restaurants nearby? Any real feedback would be appreciated.
