Fearing renoviction: Can they really force me out?

I’m seriously worried that my landlord is planning to kick me out under the guise of renovations. It's infuriating how they can push tenants out through these 'forced renovations'. I want to know my rights and how to fight against this renoviction. Anyone else facing this?
