First-Time Renter Advice - Overwhelmed!

Hi everyone! I'm about to rent for the first time in Toronto and feeling super overwhelmed. I have no idea what to expect when apartment hunting or which neighborhoods to avoid due to high prices. Can anyone share tips for first-time renters or things I should know? Thanks so much!
