Thinking of renting near 904 Eglinton Ave E, is the area worth it?

I really like the look of 904 Eglinton Ave E and its vibe from what I've seen. How's the transit from there, especially to downtown? Also, any recommendations for nearby groceries and restaurants? Would love to hear about the neighborhood character as well.
