Are all these deposit requests from my landlord even legal?

I’m new to Toronto and navigating rental laws feels overwhelming. My landlord is asking for a pet deposit, a damage deposit, and a key deposit. Aren't these just extra fees? It seems like they’re trying to charge me for everything. What can I actually expect to pay legally?
