How walkable is the 7 The Donway E area really?

I'm thinking about renting at 7 The Donway E and would love to hear from anyone who's familiar with the area. How easy is it to get around on foot? Are there grocery stores and cafes nearby? Just trying to get a vibe for the day-to-day life there.
