Seriously considering 330 Spadina Rd, what should I know?

I really like the look of 330 Spadina Rd and am excited about the area, but I want to hear from those who know it. What's the vibe like around there? How's the transit, especially near Dupont St, and are there good grocery stores and restaurants nearby?
