Rented out of existence - can anyone afford rent in Toronto?!

Another rent increase, seriously?! $2800 for a bachelor?! Who do they think they are? I'm so sick of bidding wars just to find a place to live. Viewed 15 spots in the last week, and they’re all gone in HOURS. This market is impossible!
