Is 18 Cedarcroft Blvd practical for someone without a car?

I'm looking for family-friendly housing near 18 Cedarcroft Blvd and want to know about transit options. How close is the TTC, and is it easy to get downtown without a car? Any thoughts on walkability and nearby amenities for groceries would be appreciated!
