How's the commute from 15 Pape Ave to downtown, is it manageable?

I'm considering moving to 15 Pape Ave and I'm curious about the daily commute to downtown. Is the TTC reliable from there? How long does it usually take to get to Union Station? Any tips for someone looking to live car-free in that area would be appreciated!
