How's the commute from 829 Birchmount Rd to downtown, any tips?

Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to 829 Birchmount Rd and I want to know how practical it is for commuting to downtown. Is the TTC reliable here? Also, how's the walkability for daily errands? Any advice from current or former residents would be super helpful!
