Any recommendations for rental near Bloor-Danforth line?

Hi everyone! I'm looking to move to Toronto soon and need a place near the TTC Bloor-Danforth line for easy commuting. I'd love any suggestions on neighborhoods that are safe and have good amenities. What should I expect in terms of rent? Thanks!
