Is 55 Hendrick Ave walkable or do you need a car

I'm considering moving to 55 Hendrick Ave and I'm curious about the day-to-day walkability. Can you easily get groceries and run errands without a car? Also, how is the TTC access for commuting downtown? Any insights would be appreciated!
