Hi, I'm currently renting in Kensington Market and Iām unsure if my unit is rent controlled. I've heard mixed things about the rules in Toronto. My rent is $1,800 for a 1-bedroom, but my landlord mentioned an increase next year. Can someone clarify what protections I have? Thanks!
