Worried About Special Assessments and Rising Rent

I've been hearing chatter about special assessments hitting our condo, and I'm really concerned. Do renters like us get stuck with higher condo fees due to these assessments? I’m anxious about possible rent increases because of this. Is it time to think about leaving for a better deal?
