How's the commute from 165 Barrington Ave to downtown fairly quick?

I'm looking at living near 165 Barrington Ave and want to go car-free. What's the commute like to downtown, and how reliable is the TTC in this area? I’d love to hear about walkability and nearby transit options as well.
