How's the commute from 100 Broadway Ave to downtown, is it manageable?

Thinking about making 100 Broadway Ave my new home. Can anyone share their experience with the commute to downtown? I'm all about a car-free lifestyle and want to know how reliable the TTC is from there. A quick run to Union Station would be a big plus!
