How's the commute from 1129 Don Mills Rd to downtown, is it manageable?

I'm considering 1129 Don Mills Rd for my upcoming move and I rely on public transit. How long does it usually take to get downtown via TTC from here? Is it realistic for daily commuting? Also, how walkable is the area for errands without a car?
