Narrowed it down to 3001 Finch Ave W, any thoughts on the neighbourhood?

I'm really excited about the prospect of renting at 3001 Finch Ave W! The area seems nice, but I'd love to hear about the local vibe, especially regarding schools for kids. How's transit around there, and are there decent grocery stores or restaurants nearby?
