Narrowed it down to 2600 Jane St, any thoughts on the neighbourhood?

I’m really excited about 2600 Jane St but want to hear real experiences. What's the area vibe like? Is there decent transit around, maybe along Jane or Finch? Also, are there good grocery stores or restaurants nearby? Just looking for some honest input before making a decision.
