Is Spending 60-70% of My Income on Rent Normal in Toronto?

I'm an international student and I've been spending about 60-70% of my income on rent here in Toronto. Is this sustainable? It feels like my rent is eating my entire paycheck. How do others manage their finances? Is this the new normal, or should I be worried?
