Rent in Toronto is a nightmare - I'm losing hope!

Another rent increase, seriously?! I just saw a listing for a bachelor at $2800. Are they kidding? I'm an international student, just trying to find a place to live, and every time I think I found something, it’s gone within hours. Bidding wars are so ridiculous; I can’t keep up with this market! 😤
