Odd Plant Watering Request - Is This Normal?

So, my landlord just asked me to water their plants every week while they're on vacation… for two whole months! It’s not a huge deal, but I'm starting to wonder if I’m a tenant or their unofficial plant-sitter. Anyone else have a landlord with unusual requests like this? Is it just me?
