Landlord leaves a poem for every rent payment - is this normal?

Every month when I pay rent, my landlord slips a poem under my door. They're all about the weather, my plants, and even my cat! Is this weird or am I the weird one for liking it? Anyone else have a landlord with a flair for the dramatic?
