How's the commute from 15 Jansusie Rd to downtown, is it manageable?

I'm considering moving to 15 Jansusie Rd and want to know about the commute to downtown. Is it realistic to get to Union Station on the TTC from there? Also, how walkable is the area for daily errands and groceries without a car?
