Weather Woes: Moved in a Rainstorm, Help!

Worst moving day ever: it poured all day, and my friends and I were soaked and slippery while trying to carry boxes. Our rented truck got stuck in the mud outside the apartment! Any advice on moving in bad weather or how to recover from a wet moving day situation?
