How's the commute from 2549 Lake Shore Blvd W to downtown, manageable?

I'm considering living at 2549 Lake Shore Blvd W but I'm curious about the daily commute to downtown. How's the TTC access there? Is it realistic to commute regularly without a car? Any insights about the walkability in the area would also be appreciated.
