How's the commute from 1700 Victoria Park Ave to downtown, is it good?

I'm considering moving to 1700 Victoria Park Ave and want to know how the commute to downtown is using the TTC. Is it realistic for daily travel, or does it take forever? Any thoughts on the nearby bus and subway options?
