Thinking of renting near 1594 Bathurst St, is the area worth it?

I've been eyeing 1594 Bathurst St and really love what I see so far. Can anyone share what the area is like day to day? How's the transit around there, especially for getting to places like St. Clair Ave? Also, what are the nearby grocery and restaurant options like?
