How's the commute from 1969 Eglinton Ave W to downtown, any thoughts?

I'm considering moving to 1969 Eglinton Ave W and would love to hear about the commute to downtown. Is the TTC reliable from here? Also, how walkable is the area for daily errands without a car? Any insights would be appreciated!
