How's the commute from 973 Lansdowne Ave to downtown, is it manageable?

I'm considering moving to 973 Lansdowne Ave and I rely heavily on public transit. How realistic is the commute to downtown? Is the TTC fairly reliable from this area? I want to make sure I can get around without needing a car.
