Close to picking 6 Hill Heights Rd, what's that area actually like?

I've been eyeing 6 Hill Heights Rd and love the vibe I see online. Can anyone share their thoughts on nearby transit options, like the TTC? Also, what are the grocery and restaurant scenes like around there? I want to get a real sense of the neighbourhood before making a decision.
