How's the commute from 1277 Wilson Ave to downtown, is it manageable?

Hey everyone, I'm looking into living at 1277 Wilson Ave and I want to know about the daily commute to downtown. Is the TTC reliable from there, and how long does it usually take to reach Union Station? Also, how walkable is the area for groceries and errands?
