My landlord leaves me random fruit. Is this normal?

So, my landlord has taken to leaving a selection of random fruit at my door every week. One week it's bananas, the next it's an avocado? I appreciate the generosity, but is this a common landlord thing? Anyone else have a quirky landlord behavior to share? 🍎🤔
