Exhausted from the Toronto apartment hunt - need to vent!

Just need to vent real quick. Everyone says it’s a renter’s market, but it feels like I’ve applied to a million places only to get ghosted or compete with 30 other people at a showing. I'm so burnt out from this process. Why is finding a decent place here so ridiculous?
