Is 7 Jackes Ave practical for someone without a car?

I'm considering moving to 7 Jackes Ave and want to know if I can manage without a car. How's the TTC access in the area? Can I easily get downtown or to groceries on foot? Any tips on walkability or transit options would be appreciated.
